Laurie’s career began on the institutional side of finance and shifted to private wealth management after a fortuitous series of events and realization that “… getting to know (clients’) lives and their personal goals… that’s what was fun… that was meaningful… that’s when I made the change.”
Laurie has since managed a flourishing private wealth management practice, developing deep connections with her clients over the years. Laurie truly cares, and that is one of her greatest strengths.
Laurie, as Chief Investment Officer of LCK Wealth Management, leads our efforts in establishing the investment strategies for our clients. Laurie brings a wealth of knowledge from her over three decades of experience with Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investments Group, Kidder Peabody and Dean Witter. Her experiences encompass serving institutional and corporate entities by managing their pensions and stock programs, transitions of personal wealth from liquidity events such as business sale or initial public offering (IPO), and of course, financial planning and private wealth management for individuals, families and institutions. Her experience in private wealth management is specifically with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth executives, business owners, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, non-profit organizations and corporations.
Laurie joined Hightower in 2013 as a Partner and has established her LCK Wealth Management team since. In 2015, Laurie was elected to join Hightower’s Advisory Council to the Board of Directors for a three year term and led a Partners' subcommittee to further develop and improve client experience, specifically with regard to client-advisor communication and the delivery of our services.
